I did exercise two, three, and four: mouthing pattern, pre-spinal initiation,and the spinal reach. I noticed with the #2 it took me awhile to even figure out the sucking motion and my right masseter and temporalis muscels were tight and almost spasming. I felt like my cranial nods were jerky and tight, until my sucking began to kick in and it found a rhythm. I found that as I began to relax, my hips let go and sank deeper into the floor and I could feel a tingling heat in my anal region.
In #3 I felt alot of tension in my hips and I could initiate the tail movement pretty easily. When I began to flex more deeply into the curve in my lower back I felt a lack of propioception in my lower back muscles. It almost seemed impossible to bend my lower back at all.
#4 This one felt familiar as I do alot of cobra pose. Almost daily. Integrating the upper back with the pelvis was challenging and if felt choppy when I went into a back extension. It was easier to sense into the front of my body.
