If more people asked that question: "who am I being, that 'they're' eyes aren't shining?" ...if more parents/teachers/people in positions of power ..asked that question, this world would be a much different place!
And we can never take on the responsibility to keep others happy...but if more people who were in positions to influence other people took on even Some of this responsibility... who knows what kinds of shifts we'd see...toward a more empathetic, compassionate world.
